In Spring 2015 as I packed up to move out of London and down to the sea, Emma and I rehearsed a last set of songs and played a farewell gig at the Harrison in North London; a beautiful night. Finally building a more sonically rich duo-only live set, Emma dived between casiotone organ, dulcimer and floor tom and percussion while I sent a delay signal out to an amp, reached over to the casiotone sometimes and hit cymbals with my feet. Around six weeks later we recorded a bunch of songs live at Klank in Wood Green with SJ Nelson but only 'Go Where You're Loved' made the cut. I converted an old beach hut in our new garden after we'd moved and Emma and I remade the album. And yeah, so this is it.
